HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS
Enjoy this simple and delicious homemade marshmallow recipe!

You'll need:
- 3 packages (¼ ounce each) unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup cool water
- 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- Powdered (Confectioners) sugar
How to:
- Combine gelatin and ½ cup cool water in the bowl of an electric mixer, Mix briefly to combine; set aside.
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, salt, and ½ cup cool water in a deep saucepan. Cook over medium heat, until sugar dissolves. Don’t stop stirring.
- Raise to high heat and cook, stop stirring, and wait until the syrup reaches 240°F on your thermometer.
- Remove from heat, and slowly pour syrup into mixer. Increase speed to high and whip until the mix is fluffy and thick, about 3 minutes. Add vanilla.
- Spread mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top, let sit overnight, then cut using a greased knife.
- Serve with a hot drink, such as Spiced Hot Cocoa, or bundle it up as a gift!
