CHOCOLATE BARK

A decadent, homemade chocolate dessert sounds like a great treat for a cozy fireside. Chocolate bark is easy to make and there are all kinds of potential flavor profiles to try. If you want to add this to your #firesidesnacks, we’ve got some ideas to get you started.

You'll need:


ORANGE HAZELNUT

  • Semi-sweet chocolate
  • Chopped hazelnuts
  • Orange zest


THE CAMPFIRE

  • Graham crackers
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips
  • Butter


SWEET AND SALTY

  • Semi-sweet chocolate
  • Chopped pistachios
  • Coarse sea salt


SPICE UP YOUR LIFE

  • Dark chocolate
  • Lime juice
  • Chili flakes
  • Coarse sea salt


COOKIES AND CREAM

  • Chocolate sandwich cookies
  • White chocolate chips
  • Chocolate chips


FRUIT AND NUTS

  • Dried cranberries
  • Almonds
  • Coconut flakes
  • Dark chocolate
  • Coarse sea salt

How to:

  1. Line small (9-by-13-inch) baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Melt 8 ounces of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate (chopped).
  3. Mix in ingredients based on your desired flavor profile below. Save some to use for the topping!
  4. Pour onto baking sheet and smooth with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the rest of the ingredients over the top.

Refrigerate until firm (about 30 minutes), break into pieces and serve.
