Cowboy® BBQ Wood Chips
Cowboy Smoking Chips add a delicate, smoky flavor to your food. Chips burn more quickly than chunks, so they’re perfect for shorter barbecue cook times. For a burst of flavor, first soak and drain the chips, and then enclose them in an aluminum foil tray, or a smoker box, and place in grill. You can also line the edges of the hot charcoal with chips, or sprinkle them directly onto the coals at different cooking intervals. You can also use chips in foil or a smoker box in a gas grill (please refer to your gas grill’s manual for detailed instructions).
Cowboy Chips are available in hickory, mesquite, cherry or apple.

Cowboy® BBQ Wood Chunks
Cowboy BBQ Chunks are pieces of wood around 2 inches in diameter. Unlike chips, they burn slowly, providing steady smoke for longer cook times and a more robust smoky flavor. BBQ wood chunks are typically used in combination with charcoal to add more wood flavor to food, but they can also be used as the primary fuel source instead of charcoal. Most barbecue chefs prefer to add 1-3 presoaked chunks to the fire during the early stages of cooking. Some layer chunks with the briquets instead. Different woods can impart unique smoky flavors to the food.
Cowboy Chunks are available in hickory and mesquite.
